Feel free to wander...

Purple Path was made official in 2018, although our roots run much deeper. We began our goal of creating and remodeling our spaces (both indoor and outdoor) and infusing them with rustic, "farm essence" years ago. 330 Bellbottom Rd. was purchased in 2004. It became the site of our wedding in 2005, and in 2006 our first lavender plants were propagated, a gift from Jake's parents (of Purple Haze Lavender Farm). Our farm currently grows around 1500 lavender plants. As well, it is a gallery of some of the art and home building projects of the last 15 years: a small sample of creative and organic evolution of a space.

As high school art and English teachers years, we have sought to provide students with the ethic and aesthetic to do good in the world, for others and themselves. As parents we have worked to provide our daughters with real-life farm and nature experiences, and teach them to articulate the magic of our world through art, writing, music, dance, cooking and other forms of creative expression. This spirit is infused into the work we create and design, as well as what we grow.

Our farm has become a gallery of our own creative solutions inspired by reuse, thrift, aesthetics and harmony with surroundings. We believe in conscientious design and using a variety of upcycled or foraged materials to create unique spaces. This venue is where we grow, harvest and distill our lavender essential oils.

We take great pride in the quality of our products, as well as the intimacy of the process. From plant to product, every step of the process is done by hand, on site by our family using traditional methods and materials. Thank you for visiting!
